BHP - Engineering Readiness

Our Role
We undertook an Engineering Readiness study for BHP to assess the readiness of the engineering organisation for the new moving block signalling system being implemented on their mining operations line in Australia.

We made recommendations based on findings concerning data management, configuration management, maintenance, governance, staffing and the migration plan. The recommendations aimed to ensure that BHP realises the benefits of its technology investment, whilst minimising operational disruption and avoiding embedded safety risks.
