We’re Recruiting for a new Associate Director - NOW CLOSED

About us

At Anturas we are all about delivering high quality professional advice to a range of clients. Established in 2017, we are already advising on over £3bn of major infrastructure projects in the UK and we are now looking to expand the business both at home and overseas.

Our mission is to advise industry leading organisations across multiple sectors, ensuring successful outcomes within complex projects and programmes at any stage of development, providing a collaborative approach and high quality strategic advice to a range of public and private sector partners.

The business is director owned, with all the directors being hands on in the management of the business. The directors believe in developing all members of the team and supporting them in personal development to optimise their chosen career paths.

About you

You meet the following criteria: A minimum 15 years post graduate experience and degree qualified in an engineering discipline. You should either be chartered or working towards chartership in the next 12 months.

Experience of delivering major transportation infrastructure projects is essential with a knowledge of heavy rail project delivery also preferable. You will have worked as either a contractor or client and bring experience of implementing project management processes on major projects and be technically strong in your engineering discipline to understand and mitigate issues and risks which arise with the technical delivery.

It is highly desirable that you have worked on transformation projects and/or programmes of work either in the transportation sector or local government.

You are honest: We need you to provide clients with advice that is a true reflection of and provides clarity of their needs. You will tell our clients what they need to hear and not what they want to hear.

You buy-in to our vision of sustained competence: We encourage our staff to pursue wider interests outside of work. You will be encouraged to expand your knowledge base, both in the workplace and home environment, allowing you to advance in all aspects of life while sustaining a high level of competence within the organisation.

You are collaborative: You will embrace collaboration when working with clients, their teams and partners to support the deliverables. You build solid relationships that provide the basis for a joined-up approach that provides the desired client deliverables and outcomes.

You show respect and mean it: You respect the people you work with and the people you work for. You respect the fact we are all different and it is this diversity that makes our business and our client relationships stronger.

You are agile: You avoid preconceived ideas and thoughts which allows you to flex and change as situations change. People and circumstances lead to change and your flexible working ethos allows you to adapt to meet the needs of our clients and the environment we work in.

You genuinely care: Not just felt but expressed. Our client’s success is our success, so we want to make sure we only let in the right people into Anturas.

You're proactive: You don’t wait, you take initiative where you see opportunity. You ask. You act. You look for ways to do more than expected.

You're confident: Clients look to us for guidance and leadership. You are a great communicator and a confident ambassador for Anturas.

You take ownership: You take ownership, accountability, and responsibility. (There is no blame, excuses, or denial around here.)

You follow-through: You have attention to detail. You keep your word: When you say you’ll do something, it gets done.
