Anturas launched as a business in 2017 and was the coming together of two existing businesses and included three business owners. In the first two years of operation, we saw our turnover increase significantly, which is obviously a key aim of any business. The reason for the increase was around the fact we started to employ a team of very capable professionals. By 2019 we had a head count of 10 and had won the Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce Micro business of the year. An award we are as proud of today as we were when we were awarded it.

By the start of 2020 we realised we had reached a fork in the road. Do we continue with the organic development of Anturas, with the owners being fully responsible for all aspects of the business? This had been our favoured approach in the past. Or do we challenge ourselves to develop the business in such away that us owners are still at the heart, directing the business, but the team around us are empowered to drive the business forward? We chose the latter course. Why am I telling you this? It is to put into context the rebranding and relaunch of the business.

We have, over the last few months searched our souls and this new website and brand style is the fruit of our labours. What we discovered in doing the exercise was that:

  • We champion being a small business. It makes us responsive to our partners’ needs,

  • Our team embrace our values, which in turn supports our partners’ needs,

  • We are committed to our team and their personal and professional development, which supports their needs and allows them to flourish,

  • We have professional skill sets that support all elements of the infrastructure delivery lifecycle which is needed more than ever as our partners move to drive better value when delivering infrastructure projects.

The new website and brand have focused articulating our vision for Anturas and here’s the thinking behind it:

We partnered with KBM and The Marketing Department. Both agencies collaborated to create the new site and brand. By investing in this way, we have a more refined, professional image that communicates more clearly what we do.

The new website showcases the contributions we have made to the many projects we’ve been involved with since our founding, and we have an exciting programme of blog articles planned to showcase our expertise. The entire team will be contributing thought provoking pieces so this and we’ll announce them on LinkedIn, so follow our page for updates.

The new brand is designed to be used on everything, even for applications we cannot conceive of at the moment.

We are extremely proud of our new visual style and website which give us a great foundation for continuing to develop the business and help our partners’ deliver increasingly ambitious projects, transforming the places where people live, work and play.
